Job Description
An experienced M&E (Building Services) CAD Co-ordinator or Technician is
sought for a leading CAD Bureau with an impressive array of projects and a
reputation for producing cohesive design solutions for their clients.
This role will entail 3D modelling of building projects using CAD and BIM 3D
and 4D software to company and project specific standards.
A strong CAD user, ideally you will have been using MEP for coordination work
within the workplace on large schemes previously. If you have experience of
Revit and are qualified to ONC or HNC level in a building services engineering
related discipline it would be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with Autodesk Revit MEP Suite 2010 and
have a portfolio demonstrating this and be familiar with the software
applications listed below:
AutoCAD
Autodesk Revit Architecture Suite 2010
Autodesk Revit Structure 2010
Autodesk Navisworks
Bentley Microstation
Job Purpose Summary:
Working within a project team of three or four colleagues, you will assist
with the
production of designs for major building and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Liaising with the project manager to ensure all updates and changes are
reflected on the project files
Modelling of building projects utilising 3D & 4D software to meet client
requirements
Using the MEP Revit software to co-ordinate project changes with colleagues
and external project partners
Ensuring client specifications and changes are reflected quickly and
accurately within the project files
There may be times when you will be required to carry out other duties/tasks
that
are within your capabilities/training in order to meet the needs of the
company.
