Hiring refugees and asylum seekers: employer’s guide available

Employers can now consult a new guide on employing refugees and asylum seekers published by the UK Border Agency (UKBA). It tells employers which documents to ask for to make sure that their prospective workers and employees are entitled to work in the UK, and stop the employer from unlawfully employing someone who does not have that right.
A second guide is also available, aimed at preventing illegal working practices by asylum seekers and refugees.
